Some folks in Central Massachusetts are upset that maple trees in a few town cemeteries are being tapped.
In Lancaster's Old Settlers and Eastwood cemeteries, Cub Scout Pack 9 tapped trees as part of a project after getting the OK.
But Lancaster selectmen say they didn't know about the cemetery trees.
One area official tells a local paper (Worcester Telegram) that tapping graveyard trees is a little tacky.
