Delaware State Police say 22-year-old Lake Forest High teacher Joshua Bowman had sex with a 16-year-old female student over Thanksgiving break.
This information was discovered after a 15-year-old female student, who attends Milford High School where Bowman used to be a student teacher, disclosed through a formal interview that she had befriended Bowman over Facebook.
The two had exchanged phone numbers and began texting one another. When Bowman asked the student to engage in sex, she became annoyed and declined.
Bowman voluntarily turned himself in to authorities.
He faces multiple felony charges.
