New Castle County Detectives say the first case, a pair of killings, happened late Tuesday.
Police say, a man and a woman were found dead inside a trailer, in the Glasgow Court Trailer Park, on South Patrice Drive in Newark.
By Wednesday morning, police were still interviewing people. However they had not released the victims' identities.
In the second case late Tuesday night, a 21-year-old man was slain in the community of Garfield Park.
Just before midnight, county police responded to a home in the unit block of Chase Avenue after getting several reports of shots fired. Police found the dead man in the doorway of an occupied home.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred outside the residence.
Detectives are currently following several leads, but no arrests have been made.
