Investigators say they started looking for Isaias Gonzales today after he failed to re-register as a sex offender as required by law.
When police contacted his landlord, they learned he had moved out of his apartment on March 18th. The Office of Probation and Parole reports that Gonzales had absconded after cutting off his GPS monitoring band.
Police have an arrest warrant for Gonzales for failure to re-register as a sex offender, and he also has a warrant from Wilmington police for felony drug offenses.
