Caroline Brant decided to sell after her online business, Paper Concierge, was acquired by another company.
"One of my employees was interested in purchasing the wedding side of the business," Brant says. "(She) does not want to do as much of the off-the-shelf things, but more custom orders, so we're deciding to get rid of some of the inventory so that we can transition easily over to her."
The store's final day will be April 17, 2010, but in the meantime, customers can get some fabulous deals.
"Everything on the shelves will be 60% off, Brant says. "Custom orders, including wedding invitations, will be 25% off."
But the last day that Leapfrog will be taking custom orders is April 11, 2010.
Lilly Pulitzer picnicware and notecards that were $12 a package are on sale for $4.80, and there are similar savings on a wide selection of invitations and announcements for bridal showers, birthday parties, and babies.
Cards for spring and summer graduations and barbecues are also still in-stock and on sale.
All sales are final and once the inventory's gone, it's really gone.
Starting April 14, 2010, we'll have everything 75% off and that only runs through the 17th," Brant says. "Then we're done."
Shelving and fixtures will also be sold.
