Authorities would not specify the relationship between the suspect and the victim. Because of that, The Associated Press is not identifying the suspect because to do so could identify the victim of an alleged sexual assault.
An indictment handed up last week in Toms River says the suspect sexually assaulted the girl from 1993, when she was 8 years old, until January of 2003, when she was 18 years old. It said he was in a position of authority in the girl's household.
DNA testing confirmed that he is the father of the girl's four children.
