It happened at the First Trust bank at 600 N. Route 73 in Marlton, New Jersey.
Police say the man walked into the bank and produced a handwritten note demanding money, and threatened to hurt the employees if his demands were not met.
After the robbery, the suspect was seen fleeing on foot toward East Lincoln Drive.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid to late twenties, 5 ft. 8 in. tall, slender to medium build, wearing a dark colored baseball hat and gray colored overalls.
