Police say the victim, believed to be in his early 20's, was shot in the stomach.
He was rushed by medics to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment. He was deemed a trauma alert while in transit.
At this time, there is no word on a suspect or motive but police believe the victim was the intended target.
