The Philadelphia fire department was called out to the report of a partial collapse on the 5300 block of Race Street around 2:00 p.m.
When they arrived they found one man suffering from an injury due to a beam that fell on his head.
Officials tell Action News that termites ate their way through the wood making the beam collapse.
The man was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
