South Carolina authorities hope to hook a crook who tried to fish money bags out of a bank's night deposit box.
Police say workers at a First Citizen's Bank in Orangeburg found a fishing hook in a bag.
But the angling thief didn't stand a chance.
Authorities note the night deposit boxes have one-way doors, making it impossible to pull the money out through the deposit slot.
A local paper reports the bank has security video of the would-be bandit doing something fishy with the fishing line.
