At around 1:15 p.m., the Philadelphia fire department was called out to the report of a blaze on the 1200 block on North Redfield Street. When they arrived they found smoke coming from a 2-story row home.
Crews were able to get the fire under around fifteen minutes later.
An adult male who lived at the home received burns to both legs and was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
