Marine couple's home burns days before wedding

UPPER DUBLIN, Pa. - April 8, 2010

Flames broke out around 12:22 a.m. at the house, located near the intersection of Stuart Lane and Ambler Road.

When firefighters arrived, they found flames in the front area of the house, which they were able to quickly extinguish.

A man and woman, both Marines, lived at the house with their baby. Police say the family was not home when the fire broke out.

The couple are scheduled to get married this weekend. Despite the heavy damage to the home sustained in the fire, they plan to continue with their wedding plans.

The Red Cross is assisting the couple.

So far, there is no word on the cause. The fire is under investigation.
