Bail raised for suspect in Temple hit and run

CENTER CITY - April 15, 2010

Nicholas Hasselback, 22, was arraigned Thursday morning in Philadelphia.

He is accused of hitting Tony Foltz with his white Subaru over the weekend, leaving him critically injured.

Hasselback was arrested on Wednesday.

During the Thursday morning hearing, the judge initially set the bail at $150,000. However, D.A. Seth Williams appealed, and the judge raise it to $500,000.

Following the hearing Hasselback was sent back to prison.

Foltz was expected to graduate Temple Law in May.
