Officials raid suspected puppy mill in Bucks Co.

SOLEBURY, Pa. - April 15, 2010

Chopper 6 HD was overhead Thursday as the SPCA paid a visit to 3100 Aquetong Road where they found more than 40 standard poodles. They said the conditions inside were awful.

The dogs were reportedly in pretty good shape, but the conditions inside were filthy. Police tell Action News that the residents were illegally raising and selling standard poodles.

In some cases, dogs were crated without water.

The landlord went into the house and reported seeing nothing but facilities for dogs. There weren't even beds or furniture for people.

Appleton also said when she opened the refrigerator she saw "blood running out from raw meat, unpacked, uncovered. Just a mess."

Authorities are sorting out what to do next.
