Several girls who attend Bala Cynwyd Middle School reported last week that a man they didn't recognize followed them.
One student says the man followed her to and from school.
In another case, the same man apparently began to shout at several other female students.
As a precaution, extra police are patrolling the area around the middle school and Cynwyd Elementary.
The school also sent a letter about the incidents home to parents.
