Woman with child, infant shot in Philly

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - April 19, 2010

It happened around 4 p.m. near the intersection of 20th and Snyder. Police tell Action News a man got out of a green vehicle and opened fire.

Police found a woman in her 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. She had an infant and another child, a 2-month-old toddler, with her. They were apparently unhurt.

A second women with them suffered a graze wound to the head.

Medics rushed both victims to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. They are listed in stable condition.

Investigators are trying to determine if the women were the intended targets.
