Hundreds of customers turned out for the opening in Egg Harbor Township on Wednesday morning.
"America loves a bargain and they need a bargain, so we've exploded the growth of the chain," said Mark Butler of Ollie's.
The store offers a wide variety of items from Ed Hardy jeans for $100 off to cans of soup for a dollar and towels for five bucks.
Some of the store's 70 new employees signed shoppers up for "Ollie's Army" a frequent buyer club that can net members more discounts.
Ollie's is planning on opening another store in Norristown, Pa. this fall.
