A science and technology museum in Syracuse, New York, has a full-size F-16 cockpit that controls a one-fifth-scale model of the fighter jet.
But the $145,000 exhibit takes a beating from the sixth-to-eighth graders who visit it.
It's been broken several times since opening in January.
Museum officials say the hands-on display is now getting an upgrade.
The exhibit's designer will be replacing the busted joystick with one expected to hold up better.
