Prosecutors in Connecticut say they will no longer pursue a case against the Bronx, New York man accused of stalking Gayle King.
Willie Hickson was to go on trial this month. He had been arrested in 2008 outside King's home in Greenwich - and charged with stalking and criminal trespass.
His lawyers say Hickson was trying to get a copy of a political expose' he had written to Oprah.
The public defender representing Hickson says he was told King no longer wanted to pursue charges in the case.
