The two vehicles ran into each other on Friday morning at about 2:00 at 48th and Chestnut Streets in West Philadelphia.
One officer suffered hand injuries.
The other one injured both knees.
They were taken to Hahnemann Hospital.Three women in the other car -- all in their 20s -- were transported to the Hospital of the University of the Pennsylvania with head and neck injuries.
All five people were treated and released.
Police are trying to determine what caused the accident.
