The occupant was OK, but a firefighter needed medical treatment at the hospital for breathing too much smoke while fighting the fire on the 700 block of Fairbridge Drive in Fairless Hills, Bucks County.
The blaze started at about 3 a.m. Firefighters say it accidentally started in a trash can on the porch, then the flames spread to the siding and into the home. The residence was gutted.
