Officials say 40-year-old David Whitehair Senior and his 17-year-old son David Whitehair Junior were last seen when they headed out Friday afternoon.
Their 16-foot fishing boat was found capsized Saturday with a net entangled in its prop.
U.S. Coast Guard personnel, Little Creek Fire Company, the DSP Dive Team and DNREC Fish and Wildlife searched for the two men but no one was located. The search was called off at night and will resume Sunday.
