FBI hunting for bank robber

PHILADELPHIA - April 26, 2010

The robbery happened at the TruMark Financial Credit Union branch at 1811 JFK Boulevard at about 11:15 a.m. Police say the robber came in with a threatening letter and then left, running westward on JFK Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s, about 5'3" to 5'4" tall. He has a husky build and was wearing a gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt and black sweat pants with a white stripe on the legs. He is clean-shaven and has very close cropped hair.

Police think he also could be the robber responsible for a holdup at the PNC Bank branch at 230 South Broad Street on Wednesday April 21st. In that robbery, he had a beard and mustache.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
