The theft happened around 8:00 a.m. on April 26th at the store at 5040 City Avenue.
According to investigators the suspect came into the store as employees were opening for the day.
The man pulled out a gun and demanded Oxycontin. He was handed a basket with several bottles containing about $4,200 worth of the drug.
The man fled and was last seen going southbound on Bryn Mawr Avenue from City Avenue. There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-twenties, 5'5 to 5 '6, 170lbs, light brown complexion, wearing a gray/white hooded sweatshirt with multicolored designs, blue jeans and black sneakers
