The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the airport located at Grant Avenue and Academy Road.
According to officials, there was no aircraft emergency or any fire situation that may have caused the foam to be released.
There is no word yet on exactly how much leaked, but it was large enough to force some aircrafts to be removed from the hangar.
Airport officials say the foam is environmentally safe.
