Phila. man wanted in three bank robberies

PHILADELPHIA - May 3, 2010

The most recent happened at the Republic First Bank at 1601 Market Street on Monday.

Investigators say Daniel Hodgins, 31, of the Grays Ferry section, walked in around 1:00 p.m. and gave the teller a demand note. He fled after obtaining an undetermined amount of cash.

Hodgins is described as 5'7" tall, about 175 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a plain blue dark baseball cap, a light blue t-shirt and tan cargo pants.

Hodgins is also wanted for the robbery of the PNC Bank branch at 230 S. Broad Street on April 21st and the robbery of the TruMark Federal Credit Union at 1811 JFK Boulevard on April 26th.

Hodgins is considered armed and dangerous.
