The accident happened around 12:30 this afternoon in the northbound lanes of Route 42 at the Exit 1B Interchange in Bellmawr, New Jersey.
The truck struck the Browning Road overpass and lost its load of a large piece of construction equipment. A crane had to be brought in to lift the equipment off the roadway.
There wasn't much water lost from the main break, but damage to the main did occur.
Exit 1B is where Route 42 becomes I-76 and also intersects with I-295. Traffic is jammed approaching the scene on the Northbound 42 freeway.
