Police said Saturday that officers arrested 31-year-old Christoper Taylor of Dover on Wednesday and charged him with felony theft, trespassing and other charges. They say Taylor and another man, 27-year-old Marques Blackwell of Dover, were removing copper from a farm irrigation system Tuesday in Kent County. A witness reported seeing them and state troopers interrupted the crime.
When state police arrived at the scene, they caught Blackwell, but Taylor got away. Blackwell faces similar felony theft and trespassing charges.
