Police first spotted the blaze around 11:30 Monday night at the home located in the 300 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Lawnside.
Officers called firefighters and when crews arrived, heavy flames were showing in the back of the home.
It took firefighters 45 minutes to get the flames under control.
There are no reports of injuries.
