Four extras hurt on movie set

VANCOUVER, B.C. - May 13, 2010

Four movie extras working on a film starring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson had to be treated for minor injuries after their boat hit a reef or sandbar off in British Columbia in Canada.

One of the men had to stay overnight at a hospital.

But, a publicist says that man and the others are expected to be OK.

The accident happened Tuesday.

The publicist says the boat was carrying about 25 background performers at the time.

The stars weren't on the boat.

The movie is called "The Big Year."

Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson play bird watchers who compete to spot the rarest bird in North America.
