Times Square bomb investigation comes to NJ

CAMDEN, N.J. - May 13, 2010

At around 6:00 a.m. Thursday, the FBI converged on a business called "Prompt Printing" on the 900 block of Reeves Ave in Camden. Agents were looking to speak with the owner.

They also went to the owner's condominium on the 500 block of Park Place Drive in Cherry Hill.

Action News has learned the agents executed search warrants on both locations. It is unknown at this time what the agents were looking for. An FBI agent in Philadelphia says the public was never in danger, and there was nothing hazardous in either location.

Two brothers, Muhammad Fiaez and Iqbal Hinjhara, live at the Cherry Hill condominium. Fiaez said his brother owns the print shop.

The two are reportedly from Pakistan, where alleged Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad allegedly trained with the Taliban.

Fiaez talked to reporters about his conversation with the FBI, but denied they asked him about the Times Square bombing attempt. He said he was separated from his brother and asked a bunch of "general questions."

Neither Fiaez nor his brother have been charged, nor even called a suspect.

The FBI said Fiaez and his brother are not suspected of any wrongdoing. They are simply connected to one of the many loose threads that need to be tied up as the Times Square investigation continues.

Neighbors say there is nothing out of the ordinary about the family.

"They seem like very pleasant people, I talk to the wife sometimes walking by the tennis court, picking their kids up from school," said Jerome Chambers.

Residents of the condominium complex were alarmed by the activity. The president of the board, Marge Tenerovich, said some neighbors had complained about the brothers having too many people in their house in the past. Now, she worries they may be unfairly singled out.

"I know the people who live in here, and some of them take issue some things, and this is going to be cause for concern," she said.

Federal agents also raided homes in suburban Boston and New York, the product of evidence gathered from Shahzad's alleged bombing attempt two weeks ago.

Shahzad is reportedly cooperating with authorities.
