Action News first learned of a 14-year-old girl who was shot in the neck by a BB gun around 7 a.m. as she was walking to school.
She was hit at the corner of Willow Grove and Ardmore avenues in Wyndmoor.
There's no word on the girl's condition.
Later, another report of a person being shot by a BB gun came in from Abington.
The man was waiting to cross the street when a white van drove by. He heard a popping noise, then felt a sharp pain in his chest. The victim refused medical treatment then continued on to work.
Police say they have security camera video that shows the suspected white van driving away from the scene in Abington. The victim said he heard more shots as it sped off down Highland Avenue.
The victim in Wyndmoor also described seeing a white van with two black men inside wearing hoodies.
Police are now looking for a white 1993 Ford panel van with no side windows.
