Officers were called to a home in the 5200 block of Webster Street around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
When police arrived, they were told by the homeowner that three men made their way into the home, and at least one was armed with a handgun.
The men ransacked the home, the owner said, and one of them stole a dirt bike.
Two of the men fled in a silver Pontiac, while the third man drove off on the dirt bike.
About 45 minutes later, police saw the dirt bike thief and gave chase. The suspect dumped the bike in a trail near 63rd and Arch. Officers caught the man there and arrested him.
The search for the two men in the Pontiac continues.
