Police say at around 6:00 p.m., a 19-year-old man was operating the vehicle near 76th Street and Malvern Avenue in Philadelphia's Overbrook Park section when he struck a parked car.
Officials say he then spotted a police cruiser that was in the area and proceeded to strike at least a few more parked cars.
As a result of the final impact, the man was tossed from the vehicle.
He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
