Puppy thrown off Allentown building

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - May 21, 2010

The Lehigh County Humane Society got a report that the dog, named Wally, was thrown from a building this week near Court and Law streets in Allentown.

Wally has two broken paws.

Despite the traumatic experience the pit bull is in good spirits and even hobbling around.

The Humane Society is offering for information leading to the arrest of Wally's attacker.

"We don't have a clue who owned him," said Joanne Hines of the Humane Society. "We're looking for anybody who knows who did this or who owned the dog."

Wally will undergo two surgeries: One to fix his paws, and then a second to insert metal plates in his legs.

If you would like to donate to the Lehigh County Humane Society help nurse Wally back to health, just visit their website.
