Woman, child hit by car in Bucks County

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - May 25, 2010

Quakertown police Cpl Scott Fogel says the woman was pushing the child in a stroller across Route 313 in Quakertown shortly after 8 p.m. Monday when the eastbound vehicle struck them.

Fogel says both were taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He says their condition is unknown, but both the woman, who was in her 20s, and the child, who was about a year old, were conscious when they were transported.

Fogel says no charges have been filed. He says there was no stop sign at the intersection and the 32-year-old driver stopped after the accident and was cooperating with police.
