Bike-riding gunmen wound 2 in N. Phla.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - May 27, 2010

Investigators say the shooting started at about 11:35 on Wednesday night.

Police tell Action News that they are talking to a 49-year-old male who was walking in the area of Carlisle and Clearfield Streets and heard gunshots. When he turned towards the noise, he noticed that he was shot in the leg. He saw a shooter fire a gun at a man who fell to the ground and the shooter shot him several more times.

The shooter then fled south on Carlisle Street on his bike. Medics arrived and transported the 18-year-old victim to the hospital with six gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

The 49-year-old is in stable condition.
