But a pair of Dallas-area high school seniors have taken their love of coasters to the next level -- they built their own.
Nathan Rubin and Ian Mair erected the 10-foot-high Predator in Nathan's yard.
They even get school credit as part of an independent study project.
But the boys had to make a promise to Nathan's mom, Cindy.
She tells the Dallas Morning News the coaster must come down before the boys leave for college in the fall.
Nathan is going to the University of Texas at Austin.
Ian is headed for the University of California-Berkeley.
