The network wanted to avoid trimming the HBO comedy to fit into a half-hour with commercials, so it added celebrity debates about the show to fill an hourlong slot of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" programming.
Among the celebrities gabbing on "Curb: The Discussion" are "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm and comedian Jerry Seinfeld.
What's to argue about? The cranky, self-centered behavior of Larry David's character. David said he likes the idea, although he faults some of the interpretations.
"Curb Your Enthusiasm" debuts on TV Guide Network at 10 p.m. EDT Wednesday, starting with episode No. 1 from October 2000.
