Surveillance pics released of Del. bank robbery

NEW CASTLE, Del. - June 2, 2010

The robbery happened back on the afternoon May 3rd at the Wachovia Bank branch at 1424 North DuPont Highway in New Castle.

Investigators say, around 3:48 p.m., the man came into the bank with a demand note and implied to a teller he had a gun in his waist band.

The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the bandit fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30's to 40's, approximately six feet tall with a thin build, clean shaven, wearing a dark colored baseball hat, dark sunglasses, gray colored, short sleeved t-shirt, and jeans.

On Wednesday, police also released pictures of the suspect's getaway vehicle, a white SUV.

No one was injured.
