Woman wanted in two violent NJ robberies

TRENTON, N.J. - June 2, 2010

The first incident occured on May 29th. The victim in this case told police he picked up the suspect, Hetepheres Ali, 23, in the 600 block of Greenwood Avenue and gave her a ride to Rowan Towers at 620 West State Street. Once there, the victim said he went into an apartment, where he found himself being held at gunpoint by two armed men.

The suspects told the victim to get on the ground, where he was taped and burned with a cigarette and a curling iron. He was held for about four hours, police believe, and was robbed of $266.

The males suspects in this case are both described as short black men with small builds. Both were about 20 years old and were wearing white scarves around their heads, exposing only their eyes.

The second incident occurred on May 31st when a 38-year-old Hispanic man called Ali, whom he allegedly met at a bar about a month ago. She came to his home in the 200 block of Parkway Avenue and she and the victim allegedly went to a bedroom. While there, police say Ali told the victim she had to use the bathroom. While away, the victim said Ali opened a door and let three men inside, who began to assault the victim.

One man, armed with a gun, took the victim's wallet and debit card and forced him to tell him his PIN. Then the victim's legs, hands, mouth and eyes were duct-taped. However, the man was able to get his hands free and cut the duct tape. He then jumped from a second floor window and told investigators he saw the suspects leave in his cousin's white Ford Explorer.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Hetepheres Ali is urged to contact the Trenton Police at (609) 989-4172.
