According to police, Donya Abdulrazzak was found dead at around 11:45 p.m. Friday near South 10th Street in Emmaus.
Her father reported her missing around 7:00 p.m.
The Lehigh County Coroner says the cause of death was strangulation.
Police have charged 20-year-old Darius Kevin Maurer with homicide.
Maurer and Abdulrazzak worked together at Weis Markets in Emmaus.
Police say Maurer was taken into custody following an accident, which resulted in Maurer being hospitalized.
It is not clear if the accident was related to the case.
Police continue to investigate.
