Attorneys had planned to meet Tuesday in Aspen, but attorney Yale Galanter says they'll get together at a later date.
Galanter, who represents Brooke Mueller Sheen, said Sheen has worked out an agreement to plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in exchange for more serious charges being dropped. That deal calls for a 30-day sentence during which Sheen could leave jail during the day to work at an Aspen theater company.
Sheen had been expected to enter his plea during a Tuesday court hearing. After last-minute negotiations, prosecutors asked for more time. The judge set a new hearing for July 12.
