It happened on the 9700 block of Bustleton Avenue in the city's Bustleton section. Crews were battling a blaze inside the Colonial Electrical Supply Company around 3:00 a.m. Wednesday when the firefighter was injured.
He suffered injuries to his wrist and elbow and was transported to the hospital.
The fire was placed under control within a half hour.
So far, there's no word on what sparked the fire.
