A businessman has pitched a plan to open the Vault Social Club in Emmaus.
A website advertising the club tells visitors it'll be open to couples and single women, but not single men. The club also is listed on a nationwide swingers network website.
Emmaus is a borough of around 11,000 people originally founded as a closed, religious Moravian community. It's known for its popular farmers market and a quaint shopping district.
The East Stroudsburg businessman, David Mayi, couldn't be reached for comment.
The local zoning board is expected to take up the issue later this month.
