Del. pharmacies offer reward after drug robberies

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - June 11, 2010

State police spokesman Senior Cpl. Jeff Whitmarsh says the reward amount is not being released and the businesses offering the money do not want to be identified.

Authorities say the robber has been linked to three robberies since April 11. Pharmacies inside supermarkets have been targeted for the painkiller Oxycontin.

Police say Acme in Hockessin was robbed of the drug at gunpoint on May 16. Authorities also say someone struck on May 5 the pharmacy in Pathmark and on April 11 the Acme on Centerville Road.
