Allegheny County police are investigating the cause of the 7:30 p.m. Friday crash outside Primanti Brothers restaurant in the Pittsburgh suburb of Pleasant Hills, where the rehearsal dinner was to take place.
Police say members of the wedding party were in a car that was trying to turn into the parking lot when it collided with an oncoming pickup truck. Officials say the mother of the bride-to-be was critically injured and her stepfather was also injured. The wedding was scheduled Saturday afternoon in Finleyville but has been postponed.
Pleasant Hills police said the crash was the third of the day along that stretch of road.
