Man sent through store window in hit and run

FRANKFORD - June 13, 2010

The victim was struck on the 5100 block of Frankford Avenue in Frankford, around 2:00 Sunday morning. The impact hurled his body through a grocery store window.

The man, believed to be in his 30's, survived but he's in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

The car that hit him fled. But, it was later recovered in the 4900 block of Mulberry Street - less than two blocks away from the accident.

The driver is identified as 23-year-old Robert Servance, from the 4500 block of Mulberry Street. He was taken into custody and is expected to be charged with DUI as well as driving without a license.
