Union To Play Harrisburg on July 27

HARRISBURG, PA (June 15, 2010) Union to visit the Skyline Sports Complex for a 7 p.m. match-up

"Especially in our first season, the more matches we play against quality competition, the quicker we'll improve," said Union Team Manager Peter Nowak. "With two weeks in between our League matches with Toronto and New England, playing the Islanders in addition to Manchester United will give our roster a chance to stay sharp. This match is another benefit of our valuable partnership with Harrisburg."

In March, Philadelphia Union tabbed the Islanders as their official USL-2 affiliate club and have the option to loan Union players to Harrisburg for increased playing time. Shea Salinas, Toni Stahl and Nick Zimmerman have all suited up for the Islanders.

"We're very excited to bring a Major League Soccer club to the city of Harrisburg to play on the field in front of our fans," said City Islanders General Manager Kierstin Rowe.

All tickets for the match, both youth and adult, will be $15 general admission and will go on sale on Wednesday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. Ages 3 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased by calling (717) 441-GOAL or by visiting the City Islanders official website at www.cityislanders.com.
