WILMINGTON, Del. - June 20, 2010

At around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 13th, police were called to a home in the Unit Block of Ronna Drive in the Albertson Park community.

The responding officer talked to the victims who said their home had been broken into and several pieces of jewelry were stolen. The officer also noticed that one of the burglars appears to be injured on a broken window, as there were drops of blood throughout the home.

Neighbors told police they had noticed greenish-blue Honda Accord with a loud muffler parked near the home in the afternoon.

The investigation revealed the suspect was Juan Morales, 36, of Milford. who was familiar with the family.

Police obtained an arrest warrant and later found Morales and a woman, 33-year-old Heather Gallery of Lincoln, by the broken-down Honda near Boyd's Corner Road. They were both arrested after police found several pieces of stolen jewelry in the trunk.

Some of the stolen items were recovered from the car while other items were recovered from a pawn shop in the City of Wilmington.

Both Morales and Gallery were arrested and charged with burglary, felony theft, criminal mischief and conspiracy.
